The newly redesigned X-Series is made for playing. The 00-X2E Cocobolo is a smaller-body acoustic electric guitar with a hand-rubbed satin spruce top with an elegant abalone-patterned rosette and striking cocobolo-patterned high-pressure laminate (HPL) for added durability and visual appeal without sacrificing classic Martin tone. Playability improvements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. The neck, fingerboard and bridge are crafted from select hardwoods to improve tone and sustain, and Martin E-1 electronics feature a built-in chromatic tuner, plus volume, tone and phase controls. The 00-X2E Cocobolo offers clear highs and warm lows, both unplugged and plugged, so you can play how you want, where you want. All models of the X-series come with a softshell case.
